It went quite well. We got over the whole "being awkward because it's a first date" thing fairly quickly, and a second date is extremely likely at some point within the next couple of weeks.

Today I met up with a friend of mine from camp who lives near the area I'm visiting and my dad was ecstatic, because he was convinced it was a date or something. Oh well.

Yeah, and we also get to see each other every day at band camp (since he's in color guard), which starts on Monday.

Heh. That reminds me of how a friend of mine assumed that one date with this guy meant that we were now boyfriends and stuff. When I explained to him that it didn't mean that (though I would definitely like that to become the situation in the future), he said that now he understands why his first three girlfriends left him.

Feels like different personality facets are dislodging themselves from the whole and the resulting quasi-separate personae are falcon punching right through the comforting notion of a core coherent self.

Only way I can make sense of "me" at the moment is at least two or three alternating 'mental spaces'. I don't know why this is a bitch or why that doesn't feel fine like it has done at other times when that's happened previously.

And none of that will make much sense to most other people...

Well, this isn't my main computer- on my main computer I use either Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. But the video/graphics card on that machine died, so now I can't even get to the "log in" screen. So I'm stuck on IE7.
