they could try to reroute blood flow to the heart and then remove the blockage from the carotid artery, but it would be an extremely dangerous operation.

I dont know. I only just found out yesterday. I was just told that her dr's arent able to do anything for her.

Well I would suggest against the operation because it is VERY risky.
The best thing for her to do would to be nothing. the less energy she uses the better.

If it is cholesterol spending more time in the sun might help, but it more likely is sugar or plaque.
