He's testing a next-generation space suit, they've been planning it for almost a year, and he's the best BASE jumper in the world and they're taking as many saftey precautions as they can to make this successful.

I think it would be a great accomplishmenr, not as great as Walking on the Moon, the first flight, the first circumnavigation of Earth, etc; but to be the 1st person to successfully survive re-entry (he will practially be in space) through the atomosphere would be up there.
