I can say this from experience: Living on campus is your best bet for that if you can get away with it.

Whys that? My college is only a 30 minute drive from my parents house, and I am just staying with them for it. Room and boarding fees are too expensive for me.

It's 10 miles for me and I still lived on campus until last year. I had to get out of here. This place drives me up the wall.
