My grandmother's first husband (the one before the perv grandfather) got killed during WWII and one of my great-grandfathers wound up KIA during WWI.

Of course, sleep's for the week, but I am weak and must get some rest sometime. Good night.
Have fun!Soviet Haaregrad wrote:Some people's opinions are based on rational observations, others base theirs on imaginative thinking. The reality-based community ought not to waste it's time refuting delusions.

They have a lot of that, some people who've gone to ISU have gone to work for NASA. A lot of people from ISU, who've majored in Biology work for a company not too far from where I live, "Pioneer" or something.
But, the catch is, you'll have to do excellent in school. ISU is rather expensive, I wouldn't be able to go to it without a scholarship of some sort, I'm already about 10 credits away from getting the recommended amount of high school credits, and I've got about 3 collage credits [or 9, I'm not sure tbh xD]

I crammed 21 credits into one year of high school. At the time, it meant all I didn't take was business law.

I do, most of them are on my dad's side. Most of the ones that are alive fought in WWII [one of which worked with Patton, who is pretty notable], Korea, or Vietnam. My dad recently found out about one relative who fought in the Civil War.

Out of the Civil War, I have my great-great-great-grandfather, Cpl. James Carvey, of the 12th New York Cavalry (he died a POW in Andersonville), and Ormenius Thayer out of Michigan (he survived).

My grandfather (father side) was too young to join up for WW2, my dad was too young for Veitnam, my other grandfather was caught and thrown in a German Concentration camp. He worked on a farm, and survived (he was Serbian). I think the Russians rescued him, and he traveled to Great Britian after the war. He then went to Boston, Mass.
I feel bad for my grandfather, as he lost a lot of his friends when he moved. Oddly enough, he doesn't want to visit Belgrade, or Russia again.

I suppose it's because any friends he had would be dead. Fucking Tito killed every Chetnik he could get his hands on
