I think we can agree that Ireland and Kazakhstan have about an identical chance of winning this upcoming World Cup.

Its not really a bad result - It was expected as theres not much difference between the two nations. Lets face it, both the scots and the serbians will probably be playing for third place anyway.

Phoenigutza (sorry, spelling bungled, on an iPod so it isn't fun to try to copy and paste otherwise I'd dig up the proper spelling of his name) makes it a point, from what I've seen, to always support a team because they are, well, not so good. Seems to me that Ireland is often one of the teams that that sort of person flocks towards.

It has some land in Europe. Just a tiny bit, but yeah, that's it.

But yes, I usually support the underdogs, I almost lept up when Luxembourg scored against Portugal :')

Although, I don't really consider Ireland underdogs. They aren't that bad of a side. In their group, I would tip them, or Sweden to qualify, rather than a true underdog like Kazakhstan and Faroe Islands.

On another note: ARMENIA TOP GROUP 3! Although, we did lose embarrassingly to Switzerland. I'm guessing we'll get maybe 14-ish points, and not threaten the top 2.
