In other news: The US visa system just screwed with my family again...by now, both my parents agree that, if they didn't want to go to Disneyland so bad, they'd be discouraged to continue this absurdly hard process.

And it's not even hard because of the security and economic requirements or anything like that. It's because it's so complicated (and so poorly explained by the tutorials) that we spent two months trying to figure out what came first: paying for the interview, or programming the interview.
