Attention Deficit Disorder. I show quite a few of the signs and symptoms of it. Not ADHD, as I'm not hyper at all :p

I also sometimes take longer than most to complete writing or finishing a piece of work. But that's kinda rare. There's a few other small things I'm probably forgetting as well. ADD goes well with mild OCD, I'll tell ya that much.

Hmm, weird.

When I was in Elementary school, a lot of my teachers and friends thought I was autistic. I don't know about now though. I've never been to a psychologist, mostly because I'm afraid of what I might find out.

Not here in the United States. Otherwise, I'd have no qualms about drinking the liquor in said closet.

This explains why my dad just sleeps in on his birthdays.

But I'm looking forward to 16, 18, and 21. Sixteen, I can get a job and drive a car. Eighteen, I can graduate from school and go to college if I can land a scholarship. Twenty-one...actually, I've researched what alcohol does to your liver..but twenty-one is just cool because I feel like that's when you become an adult. And I might try drinking a bit just for the experience.

But...all those are still a long time away.

When my eldest brother turned 18 he was gonna go out and buy a bunch of vodka and whatnot. Funny thing is, that's right when the state changed it to 21.

Him and his friends always used to raid the alcohol cabinet. Refilled empty vodka bottles with water and put em' back to avoid getting caught. Didn't work though, when mother wanted to get drunk...

You ever see Rollerblade commercials from the '80's?

Pretty much that, but bigger and spikier.

Personally, I think it's a holdover from the days when 21 meant that you can vote and be a "real" adult.

I hit 16 about a month ago. Still haven't even had a party or anything, let alone a "sweet sixteen". I guess it was just certain circumstances though.

Have any plans for your big day?

Right, I forget that. I don't particularly like drinking either, but 18 would mean graduation and university, which I am looking forward too.
