I heard nothing.

Nothing ... nothing ...

And warm soft furry? I shall impress you all into plushie duty for snuggles on that account.

Actually, I'm just me. The fact that I could delete you all without batting an eye shouldn't come into account unless you're breaking rules - which most of you tend not to do anyways, thank $diety.

Which raises an interesting point. How did DLN become a mod when she rides a motorbike?

Yes ... Iowa. The recent rains and switch from hot to cool have done the usual deed on my fething asthma, and I sound horrible atm. >_< Grr, argh.

The bike however, is fantastic. I just have to beat that goram course - which is full of stupid things one never has to do irl. I mean really. Thread the little drinking-cup-sized cones? Make that horrendously sharp turn while staying in the tight lines when no one has to turn that sharp on a road like, ever? Puh-leeeze, man.

I had a real life test the other day and did fine - had a deer run out in front of me while out on a sneakysneaky ride on the back roads. Didn't skid, didn't lock up the brakes, didn't panic, did just fine. I mean really, ffs people, if I can do that, I think I've got a handle on this whole riding thing, neh?

>_> More hugs for Cakey.

That makes sense. She must be friends with another mod. Or they're all really disillusioned.

*snrk* I have long grown past the badass biker thing, I'm afraid. I'm just an old boring housewife with a bike. Silly people and your outrageous ideas. :P

As for Seductions ... well, I'll let you in on a secret. She likes to think she's the most evil thing out there, but truth is, I've always had the edge. I know, flies in the face of what I just wrote, but that's kind of the point. Always keep 'em guessing.

Aint no one. >_>

They'll make someone from We Don't Surf join NS and make them a mod. Builders are always sexy, right?

Yeah some of that stuff is useless. The cones are really just a test to see if you have the attitude to reign things in rather than any technical skill.
But really, aside from deer dodging (great move BTW, I flatspotted both tires on my first bike when a deer ran out in front of me the first time, had to get sideways and creative to stay up) you don't really need THAT many skills in the midwest, not a lot of canyon carving to do out here unfortuantely. Now inner-city riding presents its own challenges...

But you'll do fine. Just take it easy, think deliberate, and you'll pass. And if not you can use your modly powers to smite them!
