I just learned a long time ago that people are stubborn, and don't easily change their minds on things, arguing with them, judging them, debating, what have you, it all just delays the inevitable, which is coming to the conclusion that you disagree with each other.

I don't know if that applies here, I think that metaphor was meant to show the effects of revenge.
This is calling ignorant people ignorant and telling them why they should think differently because they judge people over things that no one is in control of. Which isn't really revenge as far as I know, if anything, a favor.

My post count, which I care about more than most, will soon be overtaken. There are maybe two days left in which I can claim to have made more posts than any other 2012 nation. Why did the mods have to deat Wellboneland? (I know the answer, so Former Wellboneland can put me in my place.)

I had hoped to reach 4000 posts before that happened but I have a sneaky suspicion that I will not get the chance. The reason why today has generated many more posts means that I will be away from NSg for longer tomorrow. The opportunity cost of my time here is time spent on homework. Which is also why I average 33-ish posts a day these days compared to my once spectacular 38-ish.

That said, it is my firm belief that it is never too late until it is. So, I will continue posting for postings sake but never spamming. My punishment will be a bunch of threads I have only passing interests in obscuring my View Posts screen.

Of course, homework is more rewarding than posting here. After all, in most cases it's actually assessment work (including performances) so I end up with credits. That doesn't make it more fun. In fact I leave until the last few moments to get a sort of rush out of it.

I've done it as well. Not hard. Hell, I've even managed to convince some LGBTs that Christianity isn't all bad (not trying to convert them, but merely to stop judging the religion based on its more ignorant members).

I don't want to trawl over my 20k posts, but I once convinced a bunch of Christians outside this forum that hell doesn't exist since there is no Hebrew word for "hell" (there's only Sheol). Gave them sources and everything. So they dropped their anti-gay agenda.
