Well, I tend to view God as a very personal, almost humane entity...but God as an impersonal amoral entity would maybe make a lot more sense, I guess.

The capacity to create.

If we were to give a deity anthropomorphic features, I guess we could deduce that he had a purpose. But we're referring to a deity. He may not have had any purpose other than to create. After the creation, it was up to humans to find meaning. He perhaps never intended to give any meaning to anything.

If we were to give a deity anthropomorphic features, I guess we could deduce that he had a purpose. But we're referring to a deity. He may not have had any purpose other than to create. After the creation, it was up to humans to find meaning. He perhaps never intended to give any meaning to anything.


Makes Him sound like a machine, which is a viable theory, I suppose.
