Here's what you do (I play guitar as well). Learn all major chords, except you can probably leave out B. No one likes B. Then, learn the essential minor chords. Am, Em, Dm, and hell, Fm is so close to F you may as well throw it in there. Now, take a song that you like, it can be any song, and Google "-song name- chords," and look for the Ultimate Guitar chord page. Any chords you don't know, hover your mouse over them, move the mouse to the box, and drag it a little, so that it stays there. If the fingering seems really hard, then Google the chord name, and see if you can find an easier fingering (like B#m for example). Then, just play that song until the chord fingering comes naturally as soon as you see the letter.
