Well, not in my house, but it's been almost like a tornado. Tore down buildings, caused damage in all of the country. It's really been fortunate that we've been without electricity and water for only one day.

The guests were great, they're family friends that are always fun to have at dinner. A young couple with their infant son.

The photo in that article will probably return in my dreams.

Yes. It's during the Cold War, and diplomacy is limited to the US and USSR. You get close to either one by being capitalist or communist. There are factions too, like nationalists, militarists, environmentalists, and religious.
