I'm amused already.

I put the fruit, ice, and yogurt in and everything was fine. Then, I added in like a gallon of orange juice (CostCo. bottles are massive), and it all just poured out of the bottom of the blender. I panicked and tried to move the blender, only for it all to gush out onto the floor. I stuck the glass container in a bowl, which filled with orange. Meanwhile, I took the base and started looking for where it had come out. The glass part had felt loose, and lo and behold, the glass container had been too small. So I spend an hour searching throughout the entire kitchen for something that could support the container, figuring that there was another part which plugged the hole and held the container upright. I couldn't find anything, so I decided to improvise. I took a plastic bowl, no bigger than a dry measuring cup, and just started whacking it with the sharp part of a pair of scissors, hoping to break through and cut an improvised piece. All I managed to do was break it in half. So, after ten minutes of pacing and, admittedly, a minor breakdown (with orange juice everywhere, stuff destroyed, a waste of a lot of ingredients), I finally woke up my father to help me. He just walked down the steps, grabbed the container and the base, and screwed the container in. He blended it, and it came out fine, like nothing ever happened.
