Fortunately, the waitress was a kind lady and asked me if I knew that I had just ordered refried eggs. I didn't.

I don't. And sadly, that's a staple of Southern cuisine. When I order food at restaurants down here, I always tell them to replace the baked beans with something else.

Not really, but you can add them if you want.

Not the way I've had them, but you can get them on your main course. I guess if you asked, you could get them involved.

But, this is just Tex-Mex I've seen. I don't know if they involve tomatoes and peppers in authentic Mexican cuisine.
