I guess I'm used to seeing them knocked around by Austria and Novgorod (who is for some reason always the big Russian in my games instead of Muscovy) and then rebels hitting them when WE gets too high.

Shogun 2 is great. If you have an average computer, well, sucks to be you. :p

ETW was shit, NTW was alright insofar as it fixed the crippling problems with ETW without offering anything significant one would expect from a TW game. M2TW and RTW are still the best in the series.
