Isn't it odd how all of the good Pixar movies are called Pixar movies in conversation, but people refer to Cars as a Disney movie. Everyone praises Pixar for the great things it produces, but all of the hatred for when they slip up gets heaped on Disney and Pixar emerges blameless.

I call all Pixar movies Disney movies; almost entirely on accident.

It's fantastic, at least I think so. The hero is great. He's egotistical, but still very likeable. He's energetic, manic, tenacious, committed, and smart. He's really the only Disney hero who you admire for their brains. And the villain is, if anything, even better. Vincent Price puts everything into this performance. He's narcissistic, he's selfish, he sings, he prances around, he giggles. The guy is clearly having so much fun being evil and you can't help but have fun with him. Really, the entire movie rests on the shoulders of these teo characters and they hold it up beautifully.
