A friend of mine told me she'd never seen The Lion King as a child. Why?

Her parents, being conservative homeschoolers, were told that the word "SEX" is written in the sky and that Disney was trying to subliminally induce young kids to have more sex. There's a bit on that "controversy" in its Wikipedia article.

Walking is correct; if he were a driving stereotype, he would be pulled over 90% of the movie.

Which probably would have made the movie better.

The only one of my parents that ever actually gave a fuck about what I wanted to watch was my mother, who did not want me to watch the Simpsons.

I kinda liked the idea of it for three seconds, thinking that Mater would be off screen most of the time, being that he would be in some form of car jail, probably getting bailed out in the end because any Disney film must have a happy ending... :P

I can't use Toy Story, because that was when Pixar wasn't owned by Disney.

But hey, Ratatouille was fuckin' awesome.

Isn't it odd how all of the good Pixar movies are called Pixar movies in conversation, but people refer to Cars as a Disney movie. Everyone praises Pixar for the great things it produces, but all of the hatred for when they slip up gets heaped on Disney and Pixar emerges blameless.
