The Romans didn't steal, they conquered. There is a difference. A thief steals, an empire conquers.

I'm a Roman history nut. I'd wager I'm almost as crazy about Rome as CM is.
The Romans stole. They ransacked and pillaged and plagiarized. Believe me, the Romans might not have been barbarians, but they were barbaric.

Bull. The Roman Religion was highly complex, with a myriad of deities and legends that are completely unique to Roman society. However the Religio was highly orthopraxic, with lead to a deficiency in matters of religious theory, atleast in what has been passed down to us. All I can find is some Stoic and Neoplatonist writings. Not that they're not good, of course, but it can be especially difficult sometimes. And my online translation of On the Gods and Cosmos is I suspect incomplete. Plutarch is still preyty good though.

Well, excuse me for using the simple, mildly tongue in cheek answer that allowed me to say something funny.
