See above. There's the usual cultural disdain for promiscuity, but phenomena such as "Chastity Pacts" and the like are almost unheard of, and laughed at

Do you concur?

Except in the city about the only organic food you'll be able to grow/shoot for yourself consists of pets, rats, and really small veggies that grow in the bad spent soil.
I buy organic, but as a matter of taste and principle, not a holier-than-though thing. Plus I'm an awful gardener.

As I understand it the whole thing in Sweden is that there's a bit more of a greying of cultural gender norms. Meaning that promiscuity in either sex is far less stigmatized as it is in other parts of the world.

I agree. Swedes tend to be slightly more outgoing than us. Hell, a conversation with a Finn just isn't a conversation if there isn't a period of silence.![]()
But give us some minttu and salmiakki and we can get up to some weird and wonderful things, like Folk Racing and Bear hunting.

Really?
I live in the United States of America. Burn a Koran day, going batshit over a Muslim community center, dragging random muslim clerics in front of a congressional panel, all done in the USA.
Then there's the whole illegal imigration stupidity from some of the dumber members of society.Forster Keys wrote:You should come down some time. We need the money. Not as much as you guys of course...
Yeah right. Of all the investments in my stock options and portfolio the Aussie companies are the most stable. Besides I'm a mountain biker at heart, and the epic terrain of New Zealand beckons first...Forster Keys wrote:Pious? God no. Heathens everywhere.
