As for the job, love it. The Shedd is one of those places that if you love working at it, you can't imagine doing anything else, at least not for long.
I need to get back into cycling. Is the trail rural or urban?Really? That's quite a shame, I've heard all sorts of nice stories about Australia, the scenery, the sights...the wimmin

Oh, I'm exaggerating a bit. It depends where you go. The cities are quite cosmopolitan. The towns more conservative, where I live for instance... Anyway, its usually not overt in any way, and so long as you're Caucasian and don't speak, you'll blend in.
. I have family who lives in the middle of nowhere in Victoria territory, probably not gonna see them anytime soon lol. BUt yeah, doubt Australian small towns can get as psychotically insular and pious as some here in the 'States. Plus rumor has it that Australian women are second only to Swedish women when it comes to...um...open-mindedness?

Trail is urban, paved. I'm surprised my legs worked as well as they did considering I was thrashing around on some excellent local mountain bike trails yesterday as well. Then again that bike was basically a Dirtjump frame with a hodgepodge of parts of Downhill/Freeride and BMX origin thrown at it as well, this bike is a 1970s Peguot road bike built from the ground up to be as close to 70s era spec as possible. And yes they're both as much fun to ride as they sound.
I thought people liked the 'Merican accent on the other side of the world. I have family who lives in the middle of nowhere in Victoria territory, probably not gonna see them anytime soon lol.
