This looks like a good list.
Can we do away with the trading-to-evolve rule for the Johto/Kanto RP? I feel like the main reason Nintendo put that was to make people buy both versions of each game
Happiness could just be RPed I guess.
I like my list too. Also, I agree, however the item trading evolutions should stay, but you just need the items rather than trading as well (ie. Metal Coat)

Agreed. No trading necessary, just the items.

I think the Kali and what used to be Silph Co. are the villains.

I call... hmmmm Shinx. Which means we're not using Tynamo. As much as I love Elektross, Tynamo is a pain to evolve. I noticed in Pokémon Crystal that trainers get an egg for doing Professor Elm's first quest thing. Tynamo could be one of the eggs handed out. I've already made all the gym leaders for Johto on PO
And here's a special treat (I've started working on the opening post for the Johto/Kanto thread). This is the header and summary:
"Your journey begins in New Bark Town, a small town that happens to be the home of Professor Elm. When Professor Elm asks you to carry out a task for him, little do you know that it's the start of an amazing adventure that will take you to all corners of Johto! You'll encounter experienced Gym Leader, incredible locales, scores of Pokémon and, of course, Team Rocket along the way!
Professor Elm has invited you, just one of a select few new Pokémon trainers, to explore Johto and help him discover new Pokémon. He has sixteen one-of-a-kind Pokémon, and will give away one per trainer. None of the Pokémon can be found or caught in Johto and neighboring Kanto. Which one will you choose?
When you're done traveling through Johto, don't leave just yet because there's all of Kanto to explore as well!"
