Very early on, just after Bunny Haven was founded, the economy was quite weak and we had not yet agreed upon a system of currency.
Because of this many people purchased goods and services by trading items of value with one another. Such items included: light bulbs, home grown food, utility knifes, soap, batteries, tools, and (you guessed it) a giant plastic head in the likeness of Mr. Eddie Murphy.
It is unknown exactly what the origins of the giant head of Eddie Murphy are or why people started using it in trades, but the most common accounts say that it was first used to store grain, these theories are most likely due to the fact that the first few times it was traded were between farmers.
Nowadays, even though we have a fully functional currency system in place people sometimes still trade random goods (mainly as a way to avoid taxes), and every now and then Eddie Murphy’s head will pop up and be swapped for some bricks, a business suit, or even a bike.
Based upon the known trades that it has been involved in it is estimated that the value of Eddie Murphy’s head is somewhere in the range of $800 - $1,200 however it is impossible to know for sure.
