What's funny is it's always the same process:

1. Idiot does something idiotic, gets banned.
2. Idiot posts passionate defense of idiocy, asking for reinstatement. Refused.
3. Idiot TGs/emails threats to mods & admin, warning of dark consequences if not reinstated. IP banned.
4. Idiot spends hours each day evading IP bans to post spam/porn/threats/idiocy. Warned that we'll contact his internet provider(s) if he continues.
5. Idiot continues to devote life to evading IP bans, gloating in forum/TGs/emails about how he is unstoppable. We contact his internet provider(s).
6. Idiot discovers he's not quite as anonymous as he thought. Consequences here range from the amusing (stern letter from ISP) to the satisfying (email accounts canceled) to the hilarious (hauled in front of school principal). Idiot goes away.
7. (Optional:) Months/years later, idiot contacts us to express regret for past indiscretions, promising improved behavior if allowed back. Refused.

Nah, Melkor's racked up way more than 10-20 BNP kills over the past however long we've had to deal with him; he's the one that deserves the mad props for playing whack-a-troll there!

Sorry for the delayed response, but in order...
We still get nation restoration requests, actually. A lot less than we used to, and typically in cases where a user has forgotten the password for the nation and can't get the "Forgot your password" email until it's been restored. And since you need the password to restore a nation yourself... that's where we get called in.

@[violet]: I'm only halfway step one in your 7-step program to reach Nirvana. I got doing idiotic stuff down to a tee for quite some time now. However, I don't seem to be getting banned for making utterly horrible spelling and grammar errors, so I fear I'll never get to step 7 at this rate.

About the rumour of there being a secret Mod... That mod isn't in the Olympics since he/she only had 1 single recorded action: editing the log containing all mod actions. So really, there's nothing to worry about!

Actually, I'm reasonably certain a great number of them have been killed off by me. He tends to come on around noonish EST, at which time I'm often the only moderator on.

I know in the first few hours of his DoS, Reppy killed like 10-20 of his nations.

To put it in perspective, the wide majority of my deletions were from BNP puppets. I know I only deleted a paltry 52 nations, but I would guess 20-30ish of them were BNP's.
