Super Hero High: Rebirth [IC/OPEN]

[Xeng He]

Sandra nodded back at Fereshteh as she sat down by her, and took another bite of her hot-dog before hearing her question and proceeding to answr it. "Oh, well... I came here on my own accord, you see. The reason is that I wanted, or rather want to learn to better control my powers, or abilities, or whatever you wish to call them. I already know more or less how they work and what I can do, but still... It'd be helpful to learn more." Sandra said to Fereshteh.

"Hm." Feresteh began. "To tell you the truth, there's much more you can learn in practice than up here..."

She was still quite a bit angry at the school, to say the least.

"What abilities do you have, anyway?"

[Zarkenis Ultima]

Sandra nodded. "You're probably right. But then again, if I were to practice just like that, in my home, or wherever I went, I... Well, accidents could happen..." She said, sounding somewhat sad. But then Fereshteh asked about her powers, so she shook her head and looked back at her. "Oh, my abilities? Well, for starters I can warp from one place to another. I can do it quickly in succession, but this ability has a rather short distance limit. I have another ability though. I can make illusions or hallucinations. Not just visual or auditory, though. It can involve multiple or all senses, but that takes more energy." She said.

"So what can you do?" She asked afterwards.

[AETEN II]

Cen yawned as he woke up when, well, it was morning in his time.
"You don't HAVE to sleep on my torso, it's not exactly soft. You might as well sleep on the floor and use a cactus for a pillow." Cen said, and oddly, his eyes were a light blue now. He then slipped out from under Rox and got dressed, he finished by topping his head with the Fedora and tucking the FAMAS into his coat.
"Breakfast should be out by now, anything you want? Waffles? Coffee?" Cen asked, too happy to notice the trace of a visitor.

[Nakarisaune]

Roxanne was still sprawled over the bed and still slightly tired. "Maybe I'm crazy. Or maybe I like sleeping on cacti." She yawned and sat up, rubbing the sleep out her eyes. "If you're heading that way, can you grab me a coffee? Three sugar, way too much milk."

[Asterdan]

Austin had went to his room after his encounter with Rusty. He woke up a few hours later, and had been in the cafeteria reading a book ever since. Stevens grabbed some breakfast and then continued eating. He looked up, watching as people starting to enter.

[AETEN II]

"Right." Cen said as he made a mental note not to screw up the request.
"And you must be crazy then, nearly as mad as me." Cen said just as he left the dorm and shut the door, though he was also going to grab some sausage. Cen walked into the cafeteria and made his order, in the meantime he looked around at the various kids walking about. Most likely knew little of hardship, fewer of death, they were lucky, yet failed to notice.

[Asterdan]

"Right." Cen said as he made a mental note not to screw up the request.
"And you must be crazy then, nearly as mad as me." Cen said just as he left the dorm and shut the door, though he was also going to grab some sausage. Cen walked into the cafeteria and made his order, in the meantime he looked around at the various kids walking about. Most likely knew little of hardship, fewer of death, they were lucky, yet failed to notice.

Austin looked up and saw the kid that had had Rusty the night before. His eyebrow shot up. Stevens saw him place his order, so he looked back down at his book. It wasn't any book. Austin was reading a book about Nightwing, his favorite comic book character.

[Nakarisaune]

As soon as he left, Roxanne relaxed. She could stop acting now. God, it had been hard keeping up the performance at times. But she'd managed to maintain a loving facade. She got out of the bed, not bothering to make it. She combed her hair with her fingers and staggered, bleary-eyed, to a mirror, where she tried to sort out her appearance.

[Asterdan]

Austin decided to check on rusty. He dissapeared into the shadows, reappeared in his room and left his comic there. He dissapeared again, and reappeared behind Rusty. He placed his hands on her shoulders and they dissapeared. The reappeared in a hidden corner of the School, far from the rooms and cafeteria.

"Hey, just wanted to make sure you were okay after last night." Austin said, genuine concern in his voice.

[Nakarisaune]

Hearing a sound behind her, Rusty was about to look around but was transported to some unfamiliar place. Looking around, she recognized Austin. "Of course I'm okay. What did you think was going on?" she said, pushing him away angrily.

Hearing a sound behind her, Rusty was about to look around but was transported to some unfamiliar place. Looking around, she recognized Austin. "Of course I'm okay. What did you think was going on?" she said, pushing him away angrily.

"I figure I know what happened... But judging by the looks of that guy.... well.... I just wanted to make sure." concern filled his voice as he took her arm again and took her back.

Austin returned to his own room, and just sat there.

[AETEN II]

Cen made a double take when he saw that kid teleport out, the order could wait- if he caught that bastard in his dorm, there would be blood. Cen pulled out the FAMAS from his coat and ran to the side of his door, then leaned over and entered the dorm with the AR shouldered.
"Good." Cen said as he relaxed, only to then become angered when he saw one to many broken webs.
"Did anyone enter the dorm by say, teleporting? I saw a kid in the cafeteria vanish and thought it was best to see if you were OK."

[Orinon]

Goltia floated on her back for a while, staring at the stars. More specifically, at a star near the centre of the sky, brighter then the rest.
"Not one star, but two," she muttered, as she stared at the pinprick in the sky that was her home. Her mind drifted back in time, to a green estate surrounded by forest, where she, Grace and her brother spent their days together. She sighed sadly.

After a time, Goltia became aware of another person in the pool with her. Turning her head, she saw her brother floating beside her.
"Couldn't sleep," he replied to her mental question. Goltia smiled and grasped her brother's forearm gently, just as he did the same to her, a small smile flirting across his face for a moment.

[Xeng He]

Sandra nodded. "You're probably right. But then again, if I were to practice just like that, in my home, or wherever I went, I... Well, accidents could happen..." She said, sounding somewhat sad. But then Fereshteh asked about her powers, so she shook her head and looked back at her. "Oh, my abilities? Well, for starters I can warp from one place to another. It can involve multiple or all senses, but that takes more energy." She said.

"So what can you do?" She asked afterwards.

"Well..." Fereshteh began. She then let her body glow just a bit, in several different colors.

"Things like that, only...with more power involved." she finished. "And of course, I have wings, but that was fairly obvious."

She didn't get into the accidents. Fear, Fereshteh did not know, but she did know tact.

[Nakarisaune]

Austin had seemed disappointed. Oh well. Rusty didn't care. She didn't care about most things. Or people.
Cen burst in about half a minute later, fuming. Rusty was tempted to hide.
"Yeah, someone did. Probably the same person you saw." To mention the night's events or not? By not, she'd probably save Austin's life. "He came in during the night as well."

[AETEN II]

Cen muttered a series of violent curses, both in English and Italian.
"Why must EVERYONE assume I'm a monster and this is a damsel in distress scenario? We're in a goddamn supernatural school, you can light people on FIRE that try shit. This is why I HATE goddamn heroes so much, they stereotype." Cen sighed at this and dropped the gun on his bed and sat down in a chair, obviously upset.
"Thanks for last night, that was, well, one of the better points in my life. Then again, you lack strong competition."

[Nakarisaune]

Cen muttered a series of violent curses, both in English and Italian.
"Why must EVERYONE assume I'm a monster and this is a damsel in distress scenario? We're in a goddamn supernatural school, you can light people on FIRE that try shit. This is why I HATE goddamn heroes so much, they stereotype." Cen sighed at this and dropped the gun on his bed and sat down in a chair, obviously upset.
"Thanks for last night, that was, well, one of the better points in my life. Then again, you lack strong competition."

"Hey, it's okay." She crouched next to the chair. "I don't think he really did it on purpose anyway."
And was that a self-complimentary comment she detected there? "You're welcome, anyway," she said, smiling. Getting up and standing in front of the mirror, she continued to brush her hair.

[AETEN II]

Cen smirked and chuckled at what was originally the best moment in his life- so sad it was actually funny.
"You know, you'd likely laugh at how sad No. 2 was, though by saying this, it obviously means I will reveal it. The old happiest moment in my life was when I had lunch in a cafe in Venice where I managed to eat in peace, and without a firefight etrupting. As close to a normal life I got. And dammit, forgot our food. Might as well follow me, and you don't need to comb your hair so damn much."

[Nakarisaune]

Cen smirked and chuckled at what was originally the best moment in his life- so sad it was actually funny.

She laughed politely, personally thinking of her own best moment. Probably the day Siobhan let her join the group. "My second best is probably when my sisters were born. They were pretty cute." She then nodded. "Okay then, lets go. And honestly, I do." She dropped the brush and walked with Cen to the canteen.

[AETEN II]

"A goddamn xenomorph is walking in with you, you're like the girl in the Munsters. 'Hey, the normal one looks ho-LY FUCKIN GOD THERE'S A XENOMORPH!?'" Cen joked, he could make pokes at himself, but generally he only let himself do so.
"Also, everyone is cute as a baby, even me, all thanks to evolution. Hell, I found a photo of myself as a baby in the old house- eyes the size of melons and a head as big as my torso. Course', I lacked teeth."

[Nakarisaune]

She faked a laugh, having absolutely no idea who the Munsters were, but vaguely recalling her mother speaking about them before she'd left. So about seven years ago. No wonder she couldn't remember the specifics of the conversation.
"Hey, you're still cute now!" she said, beaming, taking his hand loosely so that hers wouldn't become a pincushion. "To be honest, I've never heard of the Munsters. And people aren't that scared of you!"

[Zarkenis Ultima]

Sandra nodded at Fereshteh once the latter had finished demonstrating her powers. It was quite impressive even with not so much power involved. Maybe Fereshteh could even do something similar to what Sandra could do, but at the moment that did not cross her mind. "I see. That's impressive." Sandra said. "And... About the wings, I was wondering, did you get them or were you born with them or... What?" She asked, hoping not to intrude too much in Fereshteh's life.

Gabriel opened his eyes and yawned as he sat up on his bed, his wings automatically unfolding as he scratched his head with one hand and held it with the other. He then yawned once again and looked around. He thought his room was empty and that he'd be blessed with the lack of an annoying roommate, but oh woe, this was not so. On the other side he could see Zack sleeping in a hammock of tendrils.

"Ah, well, at least he wouldn't know to recognize me if his life depended on it." Gabriel said to himself, before his stomach growled.

"Ugh, one of the bad things about staying in demon form: Can't really eat, have to revert to do so." He said to himself as he stepped out of the room and walked over to the cafeteria.

[Xeng He]

Sandra nodded at Fereshteh once the latter had finished demonstrating her powers. It was quite impressive even with not so much power involved. Fereshteh (after having thanked Sandra) answered, pretty easily "They grew on me when I was around...16. At least that's when they stopped growing. They started a bit earlier..." she finished.

[Zarkenis Ultima]

"Oh, I see. Well, that explains it. They are pretty wings, by the way." Sandra said to Fereshteh. She briefly wondered what other kinds of powers she would be able to encounter in this space station, this Academy for the Empowered. But, then again, she didn't give it much thought. It was nice enough so far, after all. Save for the gunshot noise the previous day, but hey, nothing's perfect.

[Britcan]

"Nowhere in particular." Matt said, walking alongside her. "I just thought that I should look around a bit, this station is massive. So where are you going then?"

"Well, I went to the cafeteria, I dont know if there's a library, and I went to the pool. Maybe explore one of the lower lower levels." Kate said, continuing to walk, her body flowing elegantly in coordination with her long walking legs. She pushed a button on the elevator. The metal doors opened, and she walked in.

"Seems like you've already seen more than me. The lower levels sound like a good place to start though." Matt said in agreement, walking alongside her. He stepped into the elevator after her. "Where are you heading to then?"
