Either way, he was quite surprised, and barely had time to toss his blade high into the air, and one other thing. A circle of shadows emerged from the floor and beamed up, enveloping him and dissipating just before the laser beam passed through where the demon's head was.
In order to avoid being lasered to death, he had turned into a shadow person.
Soon enough, another circle of shadow appeared, and a similar dinamic was seen before the demon stepped out, intact, and picked up his sword.
"What the bloody heaven is wrong with you?" He asked.

The feeling of being alone made her feel about how Lucus was dealing with everything since their last run. He had being taken away from her years ago and now, she felt he didn't know her. She silently cursed her father medling in their friendship but a tear went down her cheek, before it was wipe away, when she remembered her families death. Why did he have to vanish so quickly and then change so quickly? When she entered her dorm, she found her cloak on her bed and the sword under it where she put it last. Putting the cloak on and her sword over her shoulder, she left her room just for some quiet time.

Arseni then seized his moment. It had been rare to find women this beautiful, that weren't, well...not his, and without the potential to be his. And he liked having things.
So, walking up to her, he asked "So...I just saw you walk into the dormitories...what for?"

"Oh, no." he lied. "You wouldn't happen to be able to help, would you?" At this point, he took her hand. "And mine's Arseni." His eyes were following hers at this point...well, her eyes and the blade. A true coward like himself would never be dissuaded from fear by something so simple as consolation.
"What was your old school, anyway?"

Excuse me, sir. Seeing as how the V.P. is such a V.I.P., shouldn't we keep the P.C. on the Q.T.? 'Cause if it leaks to the V.C. he could end up M.I.A., and then we'd all be put out in K.P.

"The academy was great though, but I guess, I just wanted a normal life. Just be part of the normal crowd I guess," she thought about it for a few moments and then smiled. "Though, if I was normal, I would have a boring life. At least here there's an adventure to have," she smiled at Arseni.

"So, what did you think? It's been a couple months since I cooked, but hopefully it tasted as good as I thought."
