12 different birds? Holy dove.

Turkey, chicken, goose, barbary duck, alesbury duck, mallard, guinea fowl, partridge, pigeon squab, poussin, pheasant, and quail. All stuffed inside each other with eight kinds of stuffing. It makes the turducken look like a cracker with peanut butter.

I'm not even sure some of those birds can be obtained in the US.

It does sounds epic.

But if socks win, they'll enslave Dorlania's human population. And those can type. :p

I have eaten it only once. It was mind-blowing.
'sokay though, I wasn't expecting you to actually cook it.
Many of the required birds are quite difficult to get a hold of.

I know turkey, chicken and goose can be found. Duck, surely (although I don't know if the specific kinds Erin mentioned are available). Quail, pheasant and partridge, I think so. Mallard, guinea fowl and poussin, not sure.

It truly sounds fantastic. And I wish I could make it. But it also sounds like an entire week's work. :p

Guinea fowl are available. Cornish game hens could be used. Beyond that, I have no clue.

 I don't know what the actual preparation time is, but you probably shouldn't try it if you have literally anything else you need to do.

My mom started a Christmas tradition with the Cornish Game Hens. When my sister was little, and we first had them, she misheard how to pronounce it and ... to her, they were Gay Hens. Aw bless, what little kids don't come up with sometimes. >_>

Dooo eeet.

All in all, it was a night to remember. Between gay hens, and a candle tipping over and setting the table on fire, and one of the hens going skipping across the long countertop when mom was trying to serve them up onto plates ... never a dull moment in our family, I swear. :P

So much hilarity. So many possibilities.

In fact, I'm also going to ask Dorlania to turn the whole joke about sock revolution into an RP.

The Great Sock Rebellion: Where all the disappeared socks creating mismatched go. It all makes sense now. Somehow. It isn't the washer eating them, or the gnomes ... they are gathering to plot the downfall of humanity. Fear.

Nana - borrow away. XD

And when angry, they explode into huge balls of fire.

But not to worry. They're weak against flying waffles, and athlete's foot odor.

I already fear my socks. After a 12 hour shift they are revolting.
