HAHAHA! New federal government. Did you really think that we are actually turning into US #2? I'd say that about the UoA because their name and how they act is pretty close to it.

If you actually bothered reading the IF Constitution, you'd actually find out that we aren't using the old Fed-style to govern us. And we even made it possible for members to leave.

Symphonia, I know you might be angered, but keep a neutral tone. Tension should not arise outside of the role play, as that will be it's downfall.

While I agree with quite a bit of this, I want to state something about terrorism. While it is detestable, terrorism is one of the smallest threats to the lives of american people. In fact, we have lost the war on terror. The moment we began our fearful increase of security, Terrorist had one. Their goal is to instill terror into the minds of people. They have done just that. Now that may make you want to kill terrorists, but the fact of the matter is, you are more likely to be struck by lighting than be killed, or even harmed, by a terrorist.

You assume to quickly. I detest the American government. I believe it is too conservative. Even when democratic, it is conservative, as American politics is unusually right-leaning. Now, that being said, you are also assuming that human beings are reasonable. We are, most often, highly irrational beings. When something acts against us, we want revenge. It's ingrained into our psyches from birth. We are evil, detestable beings that occasionally aspire to do something less-than-evil. So, as irrational, evil beings, our political opinion would not matter if welfare, social security, healthcare, employment, law, and everything government run was either canceled or turned over to the state government, which would not be able to handle all of these responsibilities so soon. As a result, we would want revenge. After a few months, the knowledge of someone else carrying out this act for us would be satisfactory, instead of detestable.

TL;DR Version Made by Shanix:

I don't like The US Gov't. Humans like to get revenge. And they did stuff that warranted my revenge.

Yeah, I guess that sums it up.

Actually, it is. From crime in the local area, at least. Just recently, a camera outside of a convenience store in Baltimore was used to positively identify a man who kidnapped a woman and her child in her own car.

I'll be waiting for something concerning Maryland. In the mean time, Shanix, how about we being those trade relations? I want to build the Maryland version of the La Grande Arch de Defense, but I need to have a trade surplus first.

Ah! Yes, trade discussions we shall.
Well, I'm the breadbasket of the Imperial Federation, so I sell you both food. In exchange, you give me similar amounts of tobacco (1 ton of tobacco is 1.5 tonnes of food). I process the tobacco into cigarettes and cigars. 1 ton of cigarettes is equivalent to 2.25 tonnes of food, and 1 ton of cigars is equal to five tonnes of food. I use ton because It's what I'm most accustomed to (I play <game> Can't say, mods'll kill me), but you get the gist of it. And this bartering is only to be used until the Imperial Credit can finally be implemented. Good, bad, ja?

I say good. I'll have to RP some sort of food shortage, though, because I mistakenly made the New Maryland farming industry too efficient.

I know. Thats my bad. I didn't know whether people would ignore, forgive, or whatever.

Its good to have Illinois gone. They were detracting from this whole business. I was ready to help them but clearly it was over the line.

I apologize for the part I played in assisting that godmod.

Military Points/Pop.: 3% No Percentages unless there's a number of points and a population. 12 points
Military Tech/Effectiveness Points: 14 This is the numbers after this one added up. So yours would be 18.
Army (+plus marine corps): 7/7

48
Still needing to put 2 points somewhere.
If you want my advice, your military tech points shouldn't exceed your economy points.
