You still want better guns than the Taliban? Gear that'll stop those guns? Believe me it aint just towelheads running around with AK-47s. Most are supplied by manufacturers in Pakistan, Iran sometimes, other countries not involved with NATO. The real drain is all the overseas action, plain and simple. If America can manage to retract more troops from Afghanistan and not go to full on war with Pakistan (believe me thats coming), spending will go down on its own.

So what if its an NPC? Its not like any of us godmod, and you allowed the IF to invade DC. As Shanix said the reasons are aplenty. Its not lopsided as, apparently from posts being made, certain new nations are forming allies. Canada would send troops, France, Germany, other NATO nations. Mexico could have Central America on their side - supposing immigration is the casius belli. We have just as many border hoppers from there as we do from Mexico.

Itd be huge, something for all of us to be involved in, and a good war breaker-inner for all involved that doesnt involve us killing each other. Seriously, who wouldnt go for it?

Shanix: I paid for my hotels on recruiting trips before the new military budget. I love your support, but recruiting is never very high on the agenda. With a global conflict not on the horizon, research takes priority while recruitinf is put on the backburner.

Besides, 36 months and my second tour will be over. Then one more. After that I can either get my own command or reitre with my babe... Decisions...

I dont know Shanix. You dont know what its like to just give up a life. I havent had a civilian job in seven years, and itll be almost 14 when Im done with all my recruiting. Thats not easy to get back into. The VA is... well... its the VA. Maybe Ill get a job where Isabel works... who knows.
