"Hello Ariana," Wayne said from outside the cave. He had slept about six feet from the cave so as not to disturb Henry and Ariana's... whatever it was. Oh, how he loved to mess around with these people's personal lives. He'd be sure to spy on Nur and Nihil later on.

"How was... I mean, how is Henry?"

Adam raised an eyebrow at Wayne. Dude gots a lot of death going on in his head... not good. He walked over to fire that was just embers now. "Who wants to help get more firewood and Ariana, is there a food or water source nearby?" He crouched, turning pieces of solid wood that remained around...

"Not as far as I know. Then again, I haven't lived here very long, have I? My question is... do we go to school? We could a hot meal and all but, we would be in serious danger. Thoughts?"

Henry nodded at Ariana and stretched his limbs. He had just woken up, after all. He then turned to Wayne. "Oh, don't worry, I'm fine. Who was that fellow that came in and said good night, by the way?" He asked afterwards. He then heard Adam's comment. "Ehh, you don't really need firewood. Unless you want to go gather it just for the kicks." He said.

"I have some stuff i hunted sitting in back, although if there isn't much left i can hunt later." Ariana said, indicating her bow and quiver. "As for water, there is a stream about a hundred and fifty paces east of here. It is clean. And i don't get firewood personally."

"Personally, i am not going. Running away after half the school is in shambles looks bad, and coming back rarely fixes it."

He said, responding his second question as well. "As for the school, I'm not going. It's probably made a mess and I've got a lot to think of right now." He said, putting on a more serious expression on his face.

Adam gave Airana a dark look. "Oh excuse me, I'll just go, and last time i checked, I'm actually the only one here who is thinking of survival and trying to get killed by more nutjobs?!" He fumed. "Now I'm heading back to my apartment to pick up a few... things... if you wish to join, thus grab more food and extra supplies, then please." He was almost tempted to throw the knight at Airana's pretty little face.

"Now I'm heading back to my apartment to pick up a few... things... if you wish to join, thus grab more food and extra supplies, then please." He was almost tempted to throw the knight at Airana's pretty little face.

"Have fun, Adam." Wayne gave him a look that clearly didn't need telepathy to send the message. It said "Fuck off, we've got our own problems."

"So then... Ariana, do you need any further explanations for anything or can we get down to planning our defenses?"

Nihil hadn't decided to go home that night, she noticed herself walking much slower than usual.

She looked up into the darkness, blinking at the moon and the few stars, peaking out from their celestial hiding places. Smog tended to blur the skies greatness in big cities. Bringing herself back down to earth, Nihil began to think of her situation for the first time, in depth. She was free. School would be out for awhile, if not closed altogether. Her father was gone for good, which meant no more wasting time with him.

She looked up at an old billboard, and her tendrils pulled her high above to rest gently on it. Her legs dangling off, she looked over San Francisco from her vantage point. It was a brilliant city at night, the lights extending for miles, and the Golden Gate Bridge towering high off in the distance.

Leaning against the advertisement behind her, Nihil drifted off to sleep, staring out at the City by the Bay.

The others are at the cave. Maybe I should go as well...

He made his descison and made his way towards the cave. He knew exactly where it was, the power there was atonishing.

Adam frowned and walked off, spinning the blade. He knew he was open for attack, so he soon picked up his pace once he made it far enough away from the cave. He quickly got to the street his apartment was on and slowed to a stop, fingering his apartment key that was in his pocket.

Vanessa had not left the cave, and she had no intention of doing so. Watching Adam storm off, she sighed and said, "Yeah, no thanks. I'm perfectly content staying in our little cave and not getting shot at by police or Sentinels or whatever."

As Nur neared the cave, he noticed Adam and decided to go pay him a visit.

Ariana said to those remaining in the group, "I am going to go hunting, be back later. Yes i will be alone, i dont need an idiot to lose me some food. Cya later." She walked out, carrying her bow and with the quiver on her back.

Meanwhile, Henry had ignored Adam's rant altogether. He had better things to think about than his puny quest for getting to be the spotlight. However, his stomach soon enough growled. He was hungry, again.

He stood up and looked at Ariana leave. "Umm, if nobody minds, I think I should make breakfast..." He said, and went to the back of the cave. Soon enough the scent of roasted rabbit meat filled the air.
