Chərohətāt does not have a gender and looks androgynous. He dislikes to identify as either gender and does not correct either "he" or "she" when talked about. Outside direct speech, Chərohətāt will be referred to as "he" where a pronoun is needed. Most of the time, his wings are not visible, if they are, they are white and feathered. He prefers a white linen robe and wild leather vest, although since the 90s he came to consider fake leather as an alternative and sometimes wears wide white pants and a shirt in place of the robe. He is often armed with a sword and (lately) a Glock 18 pistol.

Powers: (Aware)
Flight: Really fast.
Tongues: Speaks every language (electronic communication block this ability, however)
Traveler (limited): Can open and close magical gates and portals. Can feel, if someone used a teleportation or dimensional travel power where he is standing during the last hours (stronger magic lingers longer) and can follow this path. (Note: He can not create gates and portals, just sense and open those that are concealed, closed or otherwise inactive)

Weaknesses: Can not lie. Other "do good" personality limits when dealing with mortals. Can hardly speak or write English, when he has to (telephone, written etc.)
Personality: Infused with the divine drive to be a traveler and a guardian and pathfinder of travelers, the invention of GPS has thrown Chərohətāt into an existential crisis even more then the fact, that for much of his life he was not supposed to visit earth and could do so only every now and then in secret. Now he is trying to find another meaning in life (maybe by being a moral guide for young, gifted humans) but this is a tough thing for a being like him.


History: Shortly after one other Yazata of save traveling was killed by a Deva, Chərohətāt was born with the reincarnated powers of his spiritual parent. When not sneaking on earth and guiding travelers on dangerous paths, he was a messenger between Heaven and Hindu Lokas, two factions to which the Yazata have traditionally good relations. During much of the 20th century he was employed on earth to scout for Demons and Devas and make sure they don't mess up the humans either (it was a tough time not to involve himself in the world wars).

Noteable NPC: The distant god Ahura Mazda has created 6 Amesha Spentas, who rival the Archangels in power. The Ahura Mazda are patrons to the Yazata and Chərohətāt's Patron is Vohu Manah. His domain is good purpose and his primary powers focus around elemental forces of good and the inspiration of others to greatness. ... Sadly the Ahura Mazda are quite busy, so for a low Yazata to call his patron, there needs to be a threat of global scale.
