1) Various places around Camelot (with a couple people still being in the present)

To see an absolutely destroyed area, a giant crater in the ground, and radioactive dust everywhere. Calliel coughed. "What on Earth has happened?" he asked.

If the area was hit with some sort of nuclear device, it wouldn't matter if they were underground, they still would have been instantly incinerated by the intense heat. (Not to mention the fact that the tunnel would also collapse, but that's the least of the problems.)
