James has powers. Damien has no powers whatsoever*, yet he goes around fighting demons and vampires for a fucking job. James did it because he had to. And James cracked under the pressure of his parents disapproving of his husband and job. Damien's mom was a hooker (she died), and his father died when he [Damien] was four years old. So he has no fucking parents. And, Damien is addicted to drugs. Is James? No. Damien goes doing all this acrobatic demon fighting shit and maintains a drug habit, and is a teacher. So fuck James.

* = Damien has a 15 year longer lifespan, thanks to Gabriel, but that isn't really a power.
