What plot hole?
Malakh was a girl the whole time. So what? That doesn't completely ruin the story. It would ruin the story if I said "Calliel was actually Uriel the whole time".

Surely, they'd have known her gender, being that a simple human disguise wouldn't be enough to fool an angel, especially not an archangel. If Malakh though James was gay, then why didn't she say something? Being a girl pretending to be a guy so that you can date a gay man is a colossal dick move, turning Malakh into an incorrigible asshole, making everything James did to her pale in comparison. Yes, James left suddenly, but Malakh was deceiving him about her fucking gender the entire time. Hell, James is really more of a sympathetic character now.

The plot hole that Malakh was shown in no uncertain terms as a guy in the first arc! And yes, it does ruin the story, specifically it ruins the Malakh/James romance by Malakh being a huge asshole, as you can see in my last post. More than that, though, is that it dissolves the integrity of the plot faster than cheap toilet paper, which, coincidentally enough, also results in everything getting covered in shit. If the story doesn't even have the standards and decency to keep something as simple as a character's gender consistent, then it deserves no respect.

Malakh thinks James was/is homosexual. Seeing that he's homosexual, she decided to disguise herself as a man so she could be with James.
And, only Gabriel and Michael knew about Malakh in the first place. But trying to be with someone you love by pretending to be of the opposite sex does not make anyone an asshole. It isn't the best thing to do, but it doesn't make someone an asshole.

YES IT DOES! What about lying to your partner about your true identity isn't assholish behavior? What about deceiving someone into dating you when you know that wouldn't do so normally doesn't make her a huge asshole? Hell, this is one of the worst things you could possibly do in a relationship. I mean, just imagine if this had happened in real life. Pretend a woman disguised herself as a man and dated a gay guy for eighteen years before he found out. How would anyone sympathize with someone who is so clearly an incorrigible asshole?

Seriously? One bad story idea is going to make you frustrated and mad? I TGed Nightkill about it, and he said it was fine. I make Malakh appear, and I didn't tell anyone about Malakh's appearance because I wanted it to be a surprise, and now you're getting all mad over something we could JUST ERASE. I don't see what the big deal is.

Honestly, I don't know how the hell you could do that without superpowers.

That's not the point. (Though, to be honest, people have actually done such things previously.) The point is that it's incredibly dickish and is one of the worst things you could do to a person.

Nat: Night's always in some bizarre state somewhere between "intoxicated enough to kill a hair metal lead singer" and "annoying Mormon missionary sober".
Swith: It's because you're so awesome. God himself refreshes the screen before he types just to see if Nightkill has written anything while he was off somewhere else.

Well, at least we're talking about Malakh being an asshole instead of my terrible idea...
Actually, it's Night's fault for allowing such tomfoolery! GET HIM!

Done. We're retconning everything saying she's a girl. And don't try to blame this on me, NEI.

Timothy and Jojo are fine.
Lind was actually the body that Malakh possessed to be on earth and fight Calliel 18 years ago in Arc 1. When he left that body, a piece of the Metatron that bonded with Malakh after James first fought the Metatron took control of the body and began killing supernaturals, so Malakh left to chase the Third Metatron, who wants to destroy Malakh.

If he wanted to kill supernaturals, why did it go after Timothy and Jojo?
