i had to find a few ancestors that came over as immigrants to the usa...hard as hell to find...i'm scottish/irish/italian...very small italian...

Ah. I'm Scottish and Irish as well, but no Italian. I've had to do those genealogy type things before. I have my mom's side's entire history through the last century (thanks to my cousin, who did all the research when she was my age, which was about 15 years ago), but I only have the names of currently living relatives on Dad's side, his dad, and his dad before him. As I'm the family historian/genealogist, I totally feel your pain.

That the now concealed carry bill in Wisconsin relaxes the prohibition on carrying weapons on school grounds, to allow "security".

Not necessarily. While I don't agree with weapons on school grounds, prohibiting something only means law-abiders will follow that rule, while opening the door for organized crime (as seen during Prohibition, and arguably as seen today with drugs).

Personally, though, I love self-defense laws.

I know. But she does own a bottle of Jose Cuervo, does she not? And I'm just saying, she hates it now, but if somebody in authority over Zeno suddenly told her that she couldn't ingest or own it ever, the forbidden fruit effect might cause her to actually want it. Of course, it doesn't just apply to alcohol. It applies to everything.

Imagine if instead of alcohol, I said oranges, or slushies.

At home? Just for students, I'd hope. And having a gun isn't compensation for one's sexual organs, at least for most confident men. I personally intend to get a gun (or two, each of different types, for different situations) as soon as I possibly can. One never knows when one will need one.
