That's not my personal wealth, I am in the middle of writing a short biography of the firm. It has been around for nearly 500 years, I did some research and had a look at RL firms revenues and profitability before setting it up. There are some monster firms in RL, the 5 big oil firms for example all turnover around 400 billion a year and rio tinto have a turnover of nearly 100 bil. So I added some up in different sectors and came up with the figure.

A paternal society has nothing to do with men, it simply means that the ruler tries to help their people rather than simply ruling them. Perhaps you got this confused with a patriarchal society?

In the Chamber of Commerce, you state your company's REVENUE, not VALUE, to be 900bn GBP, which is thrice the size of the world's largest company by revenue.

It's value is less than that, royal dutch shells value for example is around 50% of turnover, it also should be in $, I forgot when i was converting the different firms as most list their revenue in $ so it should be 500.

Shell is actually valued 35% of turnover, thus applying this to my firm as i intended it is valued at around 180, thus slotting me in around IBM. Oil super majors have a massive turnover but a low comparable value as opposed to tech firms such as apple.

Let's take a look, shall we?

Your company's yearly revenue: GBP900bn
Largest company in the world's yearly revenue: Less than GBP359bn

There's a problem here, and it's definitely not ExxonMobil.

And I'm not talking about value.

I'm talking about profit, as in revenue minus expense.

Also these are all public companies with shares etc. If you've got a private company, it's generally going to be even harder to obtain those sorts of revenues.

Read my post properly.

EDIT: I forgot to convert $ to £ since revenues are listed in $ for these firms so it should be a little less than £500B. Which would be about right for an oil, mining steel and manufacturing conglomerate. For example, shell+rio tinto+ArcelorMittal+GE = $481b+50+97+147= $775b=£500.45b

And with shell value ratio a value of $271b. way bellow the likes of public firms like apple exxon mobil and private or state firms such as Saudi Aramco.

Your post was completely irrelevant, or at least syntaxed in a way that makes it seem completely irrelevant. We're talking specifically about this claim you made:

That is certainly godmodding. Making up unrealistically high numbers. The value might be in line with the real world, but the revenue isn't.

According to Bing Unit Converter, ExxonMobil, the world's largest company by revenue, only makes 301bn GBP per annum.

This is what it is talking about.

500bn pounds in revenue is still 200bn higher than the largest corporation in the world.

That's because it is revenue from more than just oil like shell, It has majors in oil/gas steel, mining and consumer manufacturing too. Its not the largest in any one sector but it has a significant presence in several sectors.
