At an auditorium in one of FD-5's main cities

"Good evening and thank you for making time to come out and listen to me today. Many of you have come to me and my staffers who are out calling and canvassing our constituency wondering, what is in it for our cities? Not all of us are farmers. Let me be the first to tell you, I'm here for all of you. Whether it is giving you a choice in education for your children by lowering the cost of other education options or subsidies for first-time homebuyers so your children won't have to leave their hometowns just to be able to live. Today, I'd like to announce a couple new programs I have planned to keep our cities cleaner and better for all of our citizens, whether rich or poor.

First off, pollution is an increasing problem as we slowly rebuild. Do we want to end up like 2008 Beijing, with smog so bad that our children get sick and can't play outside like we did in our youth? Of course not. For this next term, if elected, I plan to work with the Secretary of the Environment to subsidize sales of electric cars for our cities by providing rebates to citizens and businesses who switch and upgrade to cleaner electric vehicles.

Secondly, I plan to upgrade our parks and build new fields for ourselves and our children to play in. Our civil war destroyed our parks and fields, leaving them as abandoned dirt patches and disintegrated concrete courts. To bring our communities together, we need places for our communities to gather and to let our children be children once again. Once again, thank you all for coming out and I hope you vote for Brzęczyszczykiewicz in this upcoming election."

World Baptist Congregation

It was a large congregation out there. They were all cheering for Aldean to walk on the stage. So he did.

He waved at the crowd. He was a little tired after the event in the stadium.

"Hello everbody! How are you? Good! Let's give praise to the lord for this wonderful day."

The congregation prayed with the pastor, then Draven took the stand.

"Now, I'm a God loving and fearing Christian like you. That's why I find it important to be mindful of my values while in the Senate. I always vote for what I think is best after looking at the bill, and thinking of you and God. That's why I can promise you that I will uphold Christian values in the Senate. I will fight for the name of God and his word. I will do my best to see the best bills pass, not ones that go against God's word. Thank you for having me!"

Draven sits down with the congregators.

TV Ad for NG 1, 2, 3

An announcer says:
"Draven Aldean, a Christian family man who will fight for the holy text! Vote Aldean!"

"Paid for by Aldean for Senate."

The staffers put up posters, again:

OPINION: John Smith Campaigns for FD-3 Seat
James Jones, Fernão News Network | May 15 2017 | John Smith Campaigning

- (FD-3) With 5000 people gathered in a stadium John Smith addressed his supporters, "Citizens of FD-3 with the election only hours away we need a strong turnout to secure OUR seat and promote the values of democracy, protecting the environment, and the greatness of Fernão!!!! Now let us move forward and rise!!!!" While currently Senator Smith is ahead in the polls he has faced some fierce opposition from his opponents which might have motivated him to deliver this speech.

The RGA is seemingly going to have a strong election season this month as most of their candidates for Senate lead in the polls and their presidential nominee is currently ahead in the vote count according to our latest exit polls.

If you happen to live in FD-3 my recommendation is to vote for John Smith because while he and his opponents are very similar in what they believe in John Smith has much more experience in the Senate and can be trusted to uphold the values of Fernão and FD-3.

A growing crowd had gathered to see Michael Ferreira, candidate for the Coalition of Workers and Farmers. The rally was being held at a farmers hall in one of the many small towns that dotted the region.

"Thank all very much for being here." Michael began. "It is great to see so many of you coming out to participate and get your voice heard." He looked into the crowd of farmers and townspeople, working men and women.

"I am sure that all of you have been disappointed and let down by this outgoing government, the Red-Green Alliance government. The so called progressive party, the party of the worker has done close to nothing for people like you. Absolutely nothing. The President was near-absent for most of his term and his Cabinet were also largely disinterested in their jobs. What have they done for us? The question is as simple as that.

Healthcare, welfare and social services remain sorely underfunded. Workplace and employment affairs-
the protection of our unions- remains ignored. Protections for our farmers and producers and our manufacturers have simply not occurred. They have simply not occurred.

Violence continues to spread slowly, creeping back into our lives and yet this government has failed to make any moves towards establishing a permanent national police force. We all know the peacekeepers are long gone now, it's time our government stepped up to the plate and restored the rule of law and order.

It is clear that the RGA will simply not achieve this. But there is an alternative. The Coalition of Workers and Farmers in government will have a number of priorities. We will aim to establish social services, it will expand agricultural protections and subsidies to ensure we are not swamped in the globalized economy, it will restore law and order. We will develop a national energy policy. Anti-corruption tribunals to ensure that the habits of the past do not return. A serious plan for investment in infrastructure. And we will establish a role for the regional governments. We will complete the formation of a permanent government.

The Civic Union and us do not agree on every single thing, but we do agree that we need a new government for a new Fernao, not this incumbent lot. Whether you're a union man looking for a party that will stand up for your rights or a small businessman looking for economic growth, you can find the party that's seeking to represent you right here in the CTA and in the Krishnan/Goncalves ticket."

Constituency SA-3

Tonight, an ad for Aminah Hadi had been put up on the major radio stations in the region. After much consultation, the ads will be run once every hour from 5pm to 8pm, to reach as many people as possible.

"Do your superiors disregard safety precautions? Does your boss constantly belittle and bully you? Is your workplace so dangerous it could literally be described as a "deathtrap"? If you answered "yes" to these questions, then vote for me, Aminah Hadi! If I was elected, I would put an end to these dangerous environments and make sure that the places you work in are actually safe to....well, work in! So remember: Vote Aminah Hadi, for the sake of your limbs,"

"Note: This message is sponsored by the Red-Green Alliance. Fighting for your Fernão!"

At campaign offices across FD-5

"It's now or never everyone, the vote is one day away. So hit those phones and knock on doors like there's no tomorrow, we did it last time and we can do it again! Thank you all for coming out whether you are UA staffers, RGA supporters or just someone who wants change and renewal in our nation."

At a televised campaign stop in a rural high school gym

"Good evening everyone and thank you for your time. I've made a lot of promises so far this campaign and I intend to deliver on all of them, whether it be better public transportation in our cities and countryside or subsidies for our farmers and first-time homebuyers. For this reason, I will not be announcing any new programs tonight, so I can dedicate my time to the ones I've already proposed so that they can be the best they can be. However, tonight, I want to talk about the PPCC.

A vote for the PPCC would be dangerous for our nation. We are a multi-ethnic nation composed of a wonderful patchwork of ethnic groups and beliefs. However, the PPCC plans to ignore this and just seeks to push their world view onto all of our citizens. Our people should have choice when it comes to matters of belief, it should not be forced onto them. And we should recognize the contributions of all Fernãoans to our society, whether they pray to one god or to many. Even though my party is based around Christianity, we believe that everyone should be able to choose their beliefs and have them respected. Another dangerous plank of their platform is their support for a monarchist government. Why should we destroy the democratic nation that many of us fought so hard to uphold? Why should the power of our people be usurped by some rich royal living off the money that you have all worked so hard for? Why should we be paying for caviar and foie gras when we have one of the greatest rates of economic inequality in the world? The PPCC seeks to impoverish all of our citizens, whether rich or poor, whether it be economically or through beliefs. So tomorrow, I ask of you, vote for a better future for Fernão, vote Brzęczyszczykiewicz."

Draven Aldean delivers a speech to the constituencies

"Hello ladies and gentlemen, I hope you liked the music and food while I was out. Thank you for coming to day 2 of the ConservaConcert. We are very happy to have you."

"Now, let's talk business. Whether it be a small mom and pop shop or a international powerhouse, business is good. However, it's the small businesses that are the backbone of the economy. So why should we make it hard for people to start one? The answer, we shouldn't! We should be helping the small shops, not crushing them with heavy taxes and unreasonable regulations. How would you like that?"

The audience cheers.

"So, as your Senator, that's what I'll be fighting for. For you!"

The audience roars approval

"Thank you!"

Draven walks off stage to the sound of local rock music.

Today: Discussion with Viliam Zeintek

"Greetings Ferdinand it is your favourite moderator Anna Jizcova, as you probably know the general election is still going on. Today I am in our studio with a special guest. it is a candidate for senator Viliam Zeintek."

AJ: "Hello and welcome Mr Zeintek."
VZ: "Thank you, it is an honour for me."

AJ: "So, Mr Zeintek your last rally speech was very anti-RGA, why it is so? It is just because they are the main opposition of the CU?"
VZ: "Well, I have nothing personal against the RGA. Although I do not agree with their policies I respect them. Problem is that some of their most prominent members said very deceptive things about the CU and I am still loyal to my party."

AJ: "Ok Mr Zeintek now to our main part. We have heard many things about your opinions on the economy, but I am sure our listeners want to know your social policies."
VZ: "As you wish Mrs Jizcova, do you want to know my position on some more specific social issue?"

AJ: "Ok then, another member of your party, Draven Aldean, based his policy on Christian values. What is your stance on religion?"
VZ: "Oh sure, I have to say that I am not as radical as Mr Aldean. As a protestant, I have to say that religion and spirituality is a matter of each human or church, not matter of government."

AJ: "So you are completely against the religion?"
VZ: "Oh no... Don't get me wrong. The Catholic church and others Christian and Non-Christian religions should have right to build and manage their own religious schools. And I am for the voluntary religious activities, like a bible class, in secondary education. But as I said it should be voluntary not forced, because after all, our nation is too diverse."

AJ: "Should we tax the churches?"
VZ: "No. All churches, Christian or non-Christian shall be tax-free, as they are non-profit organisations. But we should not subsidise them."

AJ: "Ok then, our next topic is: Gun rights and Gun control."
VZ: "Well, what do you want to hear? I think that our citizens are not little babies and are responsible enough to own guns for self-defence. Sure, there should be some background checking or training for those who want use guns."

AJ: "What do you think about ultra-left and ultra-right paramilitary groups? Their own mostly the legally bought guns. Is not that too dangerous to risk?"
VZ: "Mrs Jizcov, the paramilitary groups are the main reason why we need non-strict gun laws. Criminals will always found the way how to arm themselves, even if guns are completely illegal. I will give two instances:

In instance number one: There are one non-armed law-abiding citizen and one armed criminal that wants to kill him.
In instance number two: There are one law-abiding citizen and one criminal, both of them have guns.

In which instance it is more probable that criminal will kill the citizen?"

AJ: "I see. But now, let's go back to the topic of paramilitaries. Do you support the or are you against this."
VZ: "The violence should not be part of politics. The argument should decide the elections, not some paramilitaries. We don't want to end as Germany in 30s."

AJ: "So are you decided to suppress these paramilitaries?"
VZ: "Yes, there are nothing more than gangs. We must create Gendarmerie that will work as our federal police."

AJ: "Well Mr Zeintek it looks like our time is over. Thank you for your answers."
VZ: "With pleasure."

Official commendations:

I Viliam Zeintek, a member of the Civic Union, officially commend these people:
Mrs Oliveria (Ind.)
Mr Aldean (CU)
Mrs Tamboli (CU)

The following is a paid political advertisement
Career politician Draven Aldean wants to be elected to represent NG-1.

But Draven Aldean has made a career out of siding with Pro Patria and the radical right in the Senate.

Draven Aldean led the charge AGAINST censuring far-right Senator George Durand for his hateful insults towards Fernoan Muslims, even as all but four Senators voted to censure.

Draven Aldean promises to bring an end to fair taxes, and will fight for tax cuts for the millionaires and billionaires that he is beholden to, while raising taxes on you and your family.

Draven Aldean cowered in his family mansion while the very veterans he wants to cut benefits for and raise taxes on fought for Fernão's freedom.

Draven Aldean has even been condemned as "radical" by fellow Civic Union Senators.

The people of NG-1 deserve better than "radical" Draven Aldean. Vote for Edmund Clarke and the Red-Green Alliance to return pragmatism and dignity to Fernão.

The Senate Plurality Committee is responsible for the content of this advertising.

"Hello, how are you again? I've come out to talk to you about another few key things. Me and my campaign manager were in the back room, cooling off, when he gets a call. You wanna know why? A new attack ad has been released targeting me and my "radical" ways.

It says I will raise taxes on you and cut them for the rich. However, I remember standing in a middle class neighborhood promising to ease the burdens of taxes on them.

It says I lived in a mansion. Strange, I remember living in a the suburbs in an average house, middle income too. And I will cut benefits for vets? Um, I don't remember saying that. I can assure you, the bravest of this country will be treated properly.

It says I was condemned as radical, referring to a radio interview of Zeintek. He said, "I am not as radical." He never called me radical, he put me on a spectrum.

It says I led a charge against the censuring against Durand in the Senate. I remember my own party member stating why he didn't agree with that, and I backed that statement. Yeah, really led the charge there.

Ladies and gentlemen, the RGA will lie to you to get your votes. They will pull one over on you and try to fool you. But ladies and gentlemen, don't be fooled. Vote for truth and prosperity, not lies and deceit.

And now, the next topic, gun rights. As a gun owner I want to keep them, not have the government take them away. As your Senator, I will fight for your right to keep guns while making sure they don't fall into the hands of evil. Thank you!"

He walked off to the sound of folk music.

Shim Seo-yon pictured after meeting with local community leaders

Shim Seo-yon hit the campaign trail hard today, the current Secretary of Public Works was first spotted after attending a breakfast meeting with local residents and current religious and community leaders where she reportedly talked about her planned housing bill and the need for a future government to tacke immediate action to establish a form of single-payer healthcare and a national police force.

Afterwards, she spoke with members of several charities that have been established since the conclusion of the civil war, the Secretary helped out on two local food drives before helping assist in a scheme aimed to get local seniors and young people working together and interacting on a social level to rebuild community cohesion lost during the civil war. During these meetings, Shim Seo-yon talked about her wishes to establish a safe social security network to benefit the nation's seniors, alongside her ambitions for a strong education system and the promotion of full employment to combat poverty levels in the country.
