I'm not talking about my boyfriend's problems since I don't think I have one. I am talking about something I was told today, suffice it, and it concerns me.

Does lack of children make you less of a woman or man now? Of course women aspire to motherhood, even the ones who claim they don't.

Generalization. I'd say anywhere from five to ten percent don't have such aspirations at all, and anywhere from ten to thirty percent do have such aspirations but recognize that they aren't feasible in present circumstances.

(Again, these numbers seem to have been increasing in recent years. I'm not sure why.)

Generally, a psychosomatic illness is when you get it so fixed in your mind that you have a certain disease/condition/disorder that you start to manifest symptoms of that illness.
Venicilian: wow. Jesus hung around with everyone. boys, girls, rich, poor(mostly), sick, healthy, etc. in fact, i bet he even went up to gay people and tried to heal them so they would be straight.

These are conditions that can result from mental disorders and their treatment. Stress can be hard enough on the body that some functions are affected.

Someone who has such mental issues that they begin to affect her physically, and who absolutely needs to avoid stress, is not fit to be a mother when the definition of parenthood is stress.

No, I do think all women should consider it, at least once. And when one's unable to do so, it hurts like shit. So yes, you don't know what you're talking about. I may not like Nanatsu but I know that if this is about her, she must be hurting like shit right now. It's more than aspirations, this, the inability to procreate, can cause a woman to feel incomplete. She is not, but she will feel that way.

While avoiding it's personally directed component, I would agree with this statement in general. Being tied to the wrong person can be worse than being alone, and lead to a lot more problems then just loneliness.

I'm glad you labelled yourself a while back so I don't need to. She's the one claiming she has no boyfriend. How is it nasty to believe her? Wonder what her boyfriend thinks about her telling us all that he doesn't exist.

Some people handle different types of stress differently. A woman who has panic attacks form work might not have a panic attack from family.
What about my friend who served in Iraq, and came back. He has PTS, he essential has panic attacks from the smallest amount of stress.
should the state take away his two kids ? Should they force him to divorce his wife and move away?
The sort of attitude you have not only hurts those who do not need it, it also discourages people from being open about their problems and seeking help.

Yup, you're a guy, and the worst kind. Let me give ya a hint of what may be going on through the mind of a woman who was just told that because of her mental disorders and the meds she was taking to get better she'll never be able to bare her man a child? Oh, but you have no idea, you're not a woman and to you we are all sluts that can't handle stress and therefore can't be mothers.

What may be going on through Nanatsu's head right now... is pure pain. So stand back, stand far away, and shut your mouth.

I like how you accuse me of generalizations I didn't make (in fact I was very specific about what kind of woman shouldn't have children) while you spout generalizations about men and what we can or cannot understand. Very egalitarian of you.

Flamebaiting you? I don't even know you. The first post on this page has her quoting herself saying she doesn't think she has a boyfriend.

But it's okay if you want to pretend she didn't say that. It's not really on topic anyway.
