So many NSG liberals are sore losers and they actually believe that not showing up (preventing a quorum) is part of the democratic process. A representative that doesn't show up isn't representing the people. If you and your constituents are against something, the proper thing to do is show up and speak out in the forum you were elected to, and register your "no" vote and your griefs in the public record.

So it's acceptable for Republicans to do it, but not Dems?

How dare the ruling class and the wealthy class demand that the Middle Class and the poor sacrifice, all the while they're ordering their brand new Beemer or Yacht. I say it's time that the budget cuts start coming from the top down, instead of the bottom up. The people of Wisconsin should demand that the Politicians AND the Wealthy start making sacrifice.

That means the Politicians will only make five figure incomes, and they will have to give up their Top tiered healthcare plan for whatever is financially viable. The same goes for their pension plan. That mean raising taxes on the wealthy 2%, they can afford it, and jobs are going overseas anyways, so why the Hel are we protecting them on taxes? Close the loopholes on corporate taxes so that for ONCE Corporate America is actually PAYING the corporate taxes.

It's time that the Middle class and poor stand up as one and scream in the halls of government that they're done sacrificing when it only benefits a few.

Corporations shouldn't be taxed, that's theft. Middle and working class people should bear that burden. They need to tighten their belts and do their fair share. we're all in this together (except the top 2% and their corporations, even if those corporations are using their tax breaks to pay for further offshoring of jobs).

This is not a budget issue.

This is a civil rights issue.

The Democratic Senators are heroes for going above and beyond to defend our civil rights.

As for Walker, and those who support his initiative...cowards. Cowards who hide behind the issue of "money" while making villains of hard-working people.

Were the intentions of it good, yes. Was the impact of it good, not necessarily. Like all laws which greatly alter the dynamics of a community, e.g. the South, there are unintended consequences which could been mitigated if the act had been introduced more slowly.

How would it benefit the common Wisconsin-er?
The only people benefiting off what the Dems are doing are the government unions.
