Putting my usual world-weary sarcasm to the side for a moment, the fact that I got some mentions on here makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Sometimes I feel like a barely-alive victim crawling back from no-man's land towards the trenches after trying to fend off a continuous onslaught from a wave of less uptight, less cynical next-generation posters who I don't recognise, all the while desperately sobbing 'don't forget me' as I slide back over the edge of the trench, land head first in the mud and get my face nibbled on by a rat.

To put that in simpler terms, it's appreciated

Don't misunderstand. I find you all various flavours of frustrating and bewildering. Perhaps, though, sometimes this place can be fun.

In other words, you're Kat from All Quiet on the Western Front and we're all Paul before being shattered by the cynical hellhole that is NSG? Or are you Paul and we're all part of the faceless, terrible scenery, detaching you from your hopes, dreams, and past? :p

Here is my favorite....(and i am digging this out the archives here)

It's easy to tell the difference between Japan and China; Run down the street naked, shouting like a lunatic and throwing pieces of ham everywhere. If they throw you in prison, you're in China. If they give you a game show, you're in Japan.
