I was actually raised in the suburbs as a somewhat sheltered white boy. However, starting at age 18, and continuing until about five or six years ago, I spent years on and off of the streets of San Diego and Los Angeles. I know what tough neighborhoods are like. I know that assholes, racists, bigots, and general fuckheads come in all colors, and one major way to spot them is to see if they tend to paint those of other colors, backgrounds, and sexual orientations with overly broad negative strokes. I've known good people and evil people of all backgrounds, and I can tell you that not only does no one race have a monopoly on awful behavior, but that I've found intelligence and idiocy, good and evil, and kindness and cruelty in about equal percentages across all of them.

I think that's why I find you and your smug, superior attitude to be so loathsome: it's not even that you're going to do much harm in life. It's that you've taken what seems to be a rather limited amount of experience in life and extrapolated an utterly nonsensical and bufoonish worldview from it, and the fact that you choose to show this off proudly like a two year old boy taking out his penis at a family reunion tends to reflect badly on all white people, and gives credence to your counterparts in the black community who try to generalize about us.
