The ending was great because it reflected both personal loss and a greater hope for the future. Well, for those of us who aren't the main character.

IMO I just like King's ending better. I see what they were trying to portray, but in the end it just felt like another hollywood happy ending. (well happy given the situation)

I don't think that was happy at all. He shoots his whole family only to find it's over.

You'd think people would have figured out Roland Emmerich doesn't have a lot of substance in his films, especially after 10,000 BC.

What sucks is that he's making a movie about fucking Shakespeare called Anonymous, out of all the Internet and Shakespeare-unfriendly titles you could think of. I smell a shit-train of fail in his future.
