Indeed. "Avatar" wasn't as bad as it seems to be believed. I can't decide if it's a victim of it's own marketing success (nothing could have lived up to that hype)... or if it's just the trendy thing to hate Avatar.

South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut. Pretty much the best "war" movie ever... And it was only a year after Private Ryan.

It was such a rush job it just came off hokey and made the rest of the series look hokey as well.
