Probably not because it's a kids movie.

Then they deserve to be killed. Its the sex jokes that really make Shakespeare Shakespeare. No one else has ever been able to integrate them so well and with such skill as he did.

John Leguizamo made me laugh my ass off. You could tell he didn't take the movie seriously... Leo DiCaprio was the worst in there, IMO. With a name like that, you'd think he could handle classical acting... But nope. He can't. And it's painful to watch.

Awful acting, negligible plot, and just generally fail all around.

John Leguizamo made me laugh my ass off. You could tell he didn't take the movie seriously... Leo DiCaprio was the worst in there, IMO. With a name like that, you'd think he could handle classical acting... But nope. He can't. And it's painful to watch.

When it comes to DiCaprio. Besides Gilbert Grape, I hated every movie DiCaprio was in until Blood Diamond. That movie kicked ass.

But seriously the movie is about gnomes, how good can it be?

It was alright, actually, considering what it was.

It wasn't the best thing ever, sure - but it wasn't nearly as bad as it could have been.

On that note, a film that really shouldn't have been made? The American 'remake' of the Japanese movie "Pulse". A perfect example of 'remaking' an amazing movie into pointless, unsubtle, formulaic shit.

I would have loved to have seen that guy do a reverse Liam Neeson shooting at rebels with an AK-47.

Yeah I guess you do have a point there. Djimon Hounsou clearly stole the movie, and needed more time on it.

"The Eye" I certainly agree with, although it didn't miss the bar by quite as far as "Pulse".

"The Grudge", not so bad.

(And it's not because I'm an obsessive purist - while I tend to like originals better than the remakes, it's not always the case. "Three Men and a Baby", for example... "Solaris"... and "The Ring", I actually prefer the remakes.)

The remake of "Let The Right One In" was another example of turning amazing subject material into horsepuckey.
