On a serious note: I hated to go to school, and I hated homework. However, now that I look back on it, I am glad I went to school. I'm glad that it prepared me for university life. I am glad that was made to go to school so that I could form the adult I would become.

Reminds of of that thread that kid posted about school. The one with the green superman flag. He had some similiar ideas to the OP. 'Course he wasn't the brightest crayon in the box.

As much as the factory-style education that we currently practice is in dire need of transformation, to call it slavery is idiotic. Universal education is a necessary condition for a free society. Which is why it is mandated.

It is damn pointless. You force someone who doesn't want to go to school, they wont learn they will just hamper rest of class and use resorces which could be better used on other students.

Be quiet minority! I'm just saying, most 12-13 year olds post like that. Hell, I might've posted like that a couple of years ago. But I'm a spelling nut so... meh. Anyway, it was a joke-ish generalisation.
