About Bloody Time!

Postby Imsogone » Thu Feb 24, 2011 11:40 pm

As far as I'm concerned this show was Charlie Sheen's autobiographical waste of air space. The question is - were the ratings worth the crap this man put everyone through? Please don't tell me the show was good, I only watched a couple of episodes - one to see what the show was about and the second to confirm that the first episode I watched was really a good example of the quality and content of the show, but it struck me as a prime example of what's wrong with TV today.

I hope it's gone for good.

This is why you don't mouth off about the Boss on a public form like a radio show. Because the boss has the power to make your life miserable.

Meh Two and a Half Men never interest me, it reminds me of Will & Grace, but without the homosexuality.

He's probably got another deal and wants to break his contract.
The kind of middle-class mentality which actuates both those responsible for strategy and government has little knowledge of the new psychology and organizing ability of the totalitarian States. The forces we are fighting are governed neither by the old strategy nor follow the old tactics.

As he'd walk into work the screenwriters would ask: "What did you get up to last night, Mr. Sheen?" And then they'd just turn whatever he said into next weeks episodes. But hey, good luck to the guy. Wish I could get paid a million dollars to be myself for half an hour.

I second the bolded.

I've been subjected to several episodes of that show. It's decidedly unfunny, just like all network sitcoms.

I dunno, Scrubs was pretty good....well except for the last season when they replaced half of the original cast with douche bags.

In a surprise move the GOP controlled congress has ordered that all networks broadcast the new show Charlie Sheen, a reality TV show following Charlie Sheen around for atleast 4 hours during Day light hours or lose their FCC license.

So, so glad to hear this. Hope it lasts. I can't stand that steaming pile. My sister loves it. I had to watch more than any person's reasonable share of its stupidity, when I stayed at her house for two weeks.

I'd probably be more excited about watching that horrid show get canceled, if I wasn't quite sure that three more just like it will spring up in its place.

Oh well. I suppose that this way the next crew of unfunny overgrown boy-men can rake in their own piles of money which they can then spend on drugs and renting hotel rooms in which to assault women. Why should Charlie Sheen get to hog all the fun?
