And even if it was - there's a difference between offending someone through directed action, and offending someone because they are being intrusive in your behaviour.

If someone walks up to me and says "oi, fuckface", I might get offended, and my complaint might be legitimate.

If the same someone is kissing his preferred partner in the privacy of their own home, and I just don't like it, my complaint is not legitimate.
