does life have purpose?

we have all heard the question "were we all created for a purpose" buit what do you think is life pointless and meaningless or does it actually have meaning and reason? what are your thughts about this?

From an evolutionist point of view, no.

Creationists would most likely say yes.

I say no. Life has no purpose. Life is what you propose and percept it to be, and what others decide for you as well.

This seems more like it belongs in General than F7.

To be on topic, though, I don't see it as having a particularly profound purpose. The purpose is to survive and spread your lineage. There isn't much else, as that seems to be all the common individual does that is of any real relevance. Perhaps that will change at some point, but I don't believe that point will be any time soon.

It depends, if life exists in every universe, dimmension, and galaxy, then life clearly is not random and has a purpose, if not, we are a fluke, and must seize that fluke and create life throughout existence.

I think there is a purpose, for if the multi-verse theory is true (which it should be) reality has never begun nor end, it is.

Science has proven that the purpose for existence is procreation. Biologically, it's how we make ourselves matter in the long run. Seeing as humans have moved beyond pure animal instincts, it sort of doesn't apply anymore. Life has no meaning; why does it have to?
