Amsterdam says STFU O'Reilly

This made me laugh, so i thought i'd share it. I'm probably biased cos i'm an (ex-) pot-smoking, liberal hippie, but Amsterdam, and the rest of the Netherlands, rocks. I've been only twice, for a week at a time each*, but both times i found myself wanting to live there.

So, to make this less bloggy, what are your opinions on Amsterdam/The Netherlands and its relaxed attitude to sex, drugs and rock n roll? Do you agree that their "naive" experiments with "social tolerance, free drugs, free love" have created a "cesspool of corruption, crime... and anarchy"? What about y'all who live there?

I love me some reality ignoring opinions. And over-use of scary isms.
Words you say never seem

The lives we make never seem

Facts are a liberal conspiracy.
IL Ruffino: The wind flows / The hair on TSI's ass glides as if airborn / Smell the freshly cut grass
Gravlen: If I can blame you? Of course I can! I mean, you're like a walking cathalyst for homosexuality, driving otherwise straight men to write haikus about your ass hair...

So it's a wonder that your presence alone in any thread don't derail them and lead to debates about world leaders and homoerotic desires.

Wow. You know, I normally stay away from Fox News...I can't believe the sort of outright ignorance and ridiculousness they were spouting there. I couldn't help but laugh. "Ignorant ideas about teaching kids about safe sex" my ass.

has aspirations, and it also has appeal to certain groups. I have heard one person complain about their police being, heavy handed and the excessive numbers of hookers in certain areas. I know it's only one person but thought i'd mention that anyway.
I honestly have no idea how Amsterdam is doing.

well there might be a tad bit of truth to the young tourist areas, but ever country has that just about.

Though the US less so because who wants to come here.
I mean the only reason a European comes here is he is on business, or he got conned into marring some fat American chick.

Netherlands has not mattered in world affairs since the great tulip bubble burst of 1637,so who cares what Amsterdam says or thinks about 0'Reilly,they better worry less about weed, and more about the criminal aliens running amuck.

No they aren't. O'Reilly is deliberately putting him in horrible light and making him look like a child abuser (and really not succeeding). He barely lets the guy talk. But what this person did have to say was excellent, accurate, and full of substance ( :p ).

Yeah their journalism is pretty much pish. Was watching Fox And Friends yesterday morning and they were on about the dangers of texting in your car. General idea for that wee mini-news, fine. Main problem was that they seemed unsure of whether your risk of crashing was elevated 23% or 23 times by texting in your car throughout the segment. Pretty much a massive difference right there.
End the Modigarchy now.

you forgot the time when they said 23 magnitudes greater.

Fox and friends trys to do news as much as the View does... Talking about current events doesn't make a program a news show.
