It's a lie!!!! If that were true then how would we have survived the flood? There is no way we could have got the giant onto the ark, so we would all have had to become cannibals, and Baby Jesus doesn't want us to be cannibals... That's why he turned himself into crackers and wine...

It's said that God created the earth in six days. Well, what's a day to an omnipotence/omnipresence? Why, it could be millions or billions of years, by golly. Who's to say evolution isn't part of the creative process?

Apparently, a day to God is a thousand years(so sayeth the bible). So its still wrong.

The word "day" that is found in Genesis of the bible comes from the Hebrew word "yowm".

This word can mean a few things -
1 - day; as daytime not night time.
2 - A twenty four hour period.
3 - days or lifetimes - In all their days.
4 - General time period.
5 - year
6 - reference of today, yesterday, or tomorrow.

The creation story of Genesis does not actually specify that the days were twenty four hour time periods... All that is said is - And the evening and the morning was the Xth day.
This is the sort of confusion that happens when words are translated for their literal meaning with no regard for the context in which they were actually used...
Old timers are the most likely to be heard using phrases such as - Back in my day... Only the silliest of fools would be confused enough to think that their reference to the word day meant a twenty four hour period...

I believe in Micro evolution but not macro evolution. (does that help?)

Uhhh, that's a fallacy.
Micro leads to macro. It's quite proven.

Something changes so much to the point that it can;t breed with others it is considered a new species.
This takes thousands to millions fo years.
Dog breeding is 'Micro'. Wolfs being changed into domesticated dogs through thousands of years of 'Micro-evolution' is 'macro'.

Either way, the Bible is still an inaccurate text of the complied stories of Bronze Age goatherders, regardless of translation.

Well, a uniform energy density that doesn't depend on time will cause space-time to expand exponentially. That's the easiest possibility.

In short, "fascist" is a modern word for "heretic," branding an individual worthy of excommunication from the body politic. The right uses otherwords ("reverse-racist," "feminazi," "unamerican," "communist") for similiar purposes, but these words have less elastic meanings. Fascism, however, is the gift that keeps on giving. - Jonah Goldberg, revisited.
